Uganda Joint Christian Council (UJCC) has rallied all peace loving Ugandans to join the rest of the Christian communities at the Catholic Shrine Namugogo on the 23rd of this month to pray for peace in the country.
Representing the UJCC Chairman His Grace Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga at a joint press conference in Rubaga, the Chancellor Kampala Archdiocese Fr. Pius Male Ssentumbwe says that the prayer is aimed at praying for the country for a peaceful 2021 general elections.
Fr. Ssentumbwe adds that under the theme “Peace Be with you”, all Ugandans and people from across the world are invited and expected to attend this national prayer for peace.
The one day program will start with praise and worship and then proceed with the holy mass that will be led by the Archbishop of Kampala Dr Cyprian Kizito Lwanga.
