Uganda is to host the first ever Investors conference called the Presidential Investor’s conference aiming to address challenges faced by investor’s in Uganda.
The conference is slated for 29th/November/2023 at Kololo Independence ground and president Museveni who proposed the conference will be the chief Guest.
The Minister for Investment and Privatization, Evelyn Anite while addressing journalists at the Uganda media center said that over 5000 participants are expected to attend and 8000 registered companies will grace the occasion.
Anite adds that investors being the biggest job creators in the country the president wants to hear from them, the challenges they face such that government work on them Investors to work in favorable environment.
Anite adds that the conference is going to attract more Investors from commercial agricultural sector, ICT sector, and Value addition among others since they accommodate more educated younger people.
Anite has tasked investors to embrace it and not shy away to report to president government agencies and individuals who are corrupt because they cripple their work in Uganda.
