Police have confirmed the death of two people and other two injured in a fatal road crash that occurred today morning at Namasuba, Kampala.
The accident involved motor vehicle registration number UBF 561N Isuzu Elf white in color and motorcycle registration number UFG 507A Bajaj boxer and UFU 227K Bajaj boxer red in color.
Patrick Onyango, the Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson identified the driver of the motor vehicle that is suspected to have caused the accident as Alamazan Isabirye aged 25 years a resident of Kanyanya, Kawempe Division in Kampala District.
Onyango says the deceased are identified as; Paul Ssensamba aged 24 years a bodaboda rider and a resident of Kikajjo and Stella Nalubwama 23 years a resident of Kikajjo and a passenger on the motor cycle of Ssensamba.
While the injured victims are Godfrey Kiyimba aged 27 years a resident of Kibutika a bodaboda rider and unidentified female adult who was rushed to an unknown health center and she was a passenger on unidentified motorcycles according to Onyango.
Onyango attributes the accident to over speeding by the driver of Isuzu Elf that knocked two motorcycles at Namasuba Kikajjo junction while he was driving from Kampala to Entebbe.
