The Traffic Police have continued to warn of abrupt diversions that will be conducted from main routes that connect to Speak Resort Munyonyo, the summits venue.

This is in time for the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) and the G-77 plus China summits starting today to 23rd January 2024.

Michael Kananura, the Traffic Police Spokesperson says that since there is a lot of activity on the Entebbe Express way, which is the main summit route that connects from Entebbe International Airport to Speak Resort Munyonyo, there will have a number of abrupt diversions according to the movement of the delegates.

Kananura says traffic officers have been deployed at traffic lights points along the roads enroute to Munyonyo including Serena Kigo, Mutungo-Kitiko and Busaabala to make abrupt diversions.

He further explains that Northern Bypass will also be affected with these abrupt diversions especially on flyovers at Sentema, Nansana, Bwaise, Kalerwe, Kyebando and Kisaasi Interchange.
