Speaker Among hails Parliament’s performance

The Speaker of Parliament Anita Among has this afternoon given account to President Museveni over the parliamentary performance in the second session.

In the 2^nd session Parliament passed 24 bills, administered 7 Oaths, 31 resolutions, and 2 petitions, Among said.

She further applauded the 11^th Parliament for performing beyond expectations with 24 bills passed in the 2^nd session being higher to the 23 bills passed in the 1^st session.

Parliament today, convened at Kololo under rule 17(1) of the rules of procedures and President Museveni addresses parliament under article 101(2) of the constitution with consultation from speaker of parliament.
