The Police Spokes Person Fred Enanga has clarified that Police and the Military that surrounded the home of Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi, alias Bobi Wine was aimed at taking a preventive measure after he announced a plan to lead a demonstration to Police.
The announcement followed the cancellation of this Easter Monday Concert that had been planned at One Love Beach Busabaala bringing the number of concealed concerts since 2017 to over 100.
Kyagulanyi says they have followed the tenets of the law but have been refused that is why he plans for an alternative move through a peaceful demonstration to demand for his rights and freedom.
Enanga however says they are following a preventive policy of keeping law and order. And As long as Hon Kyagulanyi still has threats of conducting unlawful assemblies, they will keep the forces at his residence because his announcements are issues of national security when he holds public demonstrations country wide without authority.
