Police have recovered the gun that was stolen from a security guard that was guarding the home of the city socialite Zari Hassan where they also robbed items worth over shillings 100 million.
The incident according to the police happened on 28th December 2023 at Zari’s home found at Gangu, Busaabala in Makindye division.
Luke Owoyesigyire, the Deputy Spokesperson for Kampala Metropolitan Police says that they are still hunting for the suspects that were behind this robbery.
Meanwhile, Police are hunting for robbers who allegedly attacked one Ronald Wabwire and stole 86000USD that had been given to him by one Geoffrey Byaruhanga to exchange it into Ugandan shillings in Kampala.
Luke Owoyesigyire, the Deputy Spokesperson for Kampala Metropolitan Police says that Wabwire was traced from Kisoro to Pride Theater in Kampala by gunmen on motorcycles who took away the money.
