Police have started investigations to establish the source and people behind the alleged death threats against the Speaker of parliament Anita Annette Among.
Last week, the Speaker Among informed the Members of Parliament -MPs that she had received death threats and she is being followed by assailants who want to take away her life.
Fred Enanga, the Police Spokesperson says that investigations teams from the Special Investigations Division Kireka are teaming up with other intelligence agencies to investigate these death threats which are directed to the speaker.
Enanga also revealed that they are working with the office of the speaker to establish the source of these threats.
Meanwhile, Enanga revealed that their counter terrorism teams also monitoring the security detail of the speaker as investigations commences.
