The Police have dismissed from the force Constable Stephen Mulomba, who was responsible for a gun used in a murder of an Indian businessman at Raja Chambers last week.

This was after the Professional Standards Unit in the Police conducted a disciplinary court today morning and found that Mulomba neglected the gun by leaving it at his room where Constable Ivan Wabwire picked it from and executed the murder of Utram Bhandari, the manager and proprietor of TFS Financial Services at Raja Chambers along Parliamentary Avenue.

According to the Police, Wabwire had been stopped from carrying any weapon six years ago after his deployment at the CCTV camera monitoring centre.

Fred Enanga, the Police Spokesperson says that Mulomba who has been sub-renting with Wabwire left the gun at their room and left to his side job which eased the Indian murder suspect to pick and use it for his mission.

He now says that Mulomba is to be charged in civil court after the advice of the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) for neglecting his duty that contributed to the murder of a Money lender.

Meanwhile, Police Constable Ivan Wabwire has allegedly confessed to murdering an Indian businessman intentionally, claiming that he was over charged on interests he was meant to pay on his one million shillings loan.

Enanga says the detectives discovered that Wabwire used 12 bullets, 9 of them found in the body of the deceased.
