The Committee parliamentary committee on Government assurance has left for Ghana to beach mark on how presidential pledges are implemented.

Speaking to the chairperson of the committee also Mukono Municipality MP Betty Nambooze says they want to learn how Ghana manifests and budgets for presidential pledges.

According to Nambooze, since the NRM Government came into power, President  Museveni has made several  pledges to Ugandans worth 85 trillion shillings
but not all have been fulfilled .

The 10-member committee is expected to spend 10 working days in Accra, the capital city of Ghana.

Meanwhile Nambooze has lashed at the administration of parliament for refusing to accord them time on the order paper to present different report findings by her committee before the parliament.
