The National Unity Platform’s Fred Nyanzi Ssentamu says he is to sit with his lawyers to scrutinize the High Court ruling in the case where he was challenging the victory of Muhammad Nsereko as Member of Parliament for Kampala Central Division.

On Monday, the High Court Judge Jessy Byaruhanga dismissed the case on grounds that the petitioner failed to provide evidence of noncompliance of electoral laws to prove the allegations of bribery and ballot stuffing.

While addressing journalists at his home in Kyebando, Kawempe Division, Nyanzi revealed that he is still studying the ruling with his lawyers to decide the next step of action.

He disclosed that at the moment justice has not been given to voters of Kampala Central but he has already gained because the same court has set precedence where someone can be served by court at any time even if the seven days elapse that was set by the court.

Meanwhile, at the same presser, Nyanzi condemned the security forces’ selective enforcement of the law by allowing the First Son Gen. Muhoozi Kenirugaba to traverse the country making campaigns yet opposition parties are denied adding although he was tortured by security in Kyenjojo district it will not intimidate him and his “Kunga” group and vowed to continue mobilizing all force seeking people under to change the country.
