The National Identification Registration Authority (NIRA) has unveiled a new enrollment form that will guide Ugandans in providing consistent information.

This comes after NIRA disclosed that the mass registration for national IDs all over the country will kick off in June this year.

Addressing journalists on Monday at Police headquarters Naguru, the NIRA Executive Director, Rosemary Kisembo says that the new enrollment form dubbed Form 3 has four registration parts that requires identities, places of birth, residence, origin and Citizenship type.

She says that they have been receiving inconsistent information that has been in-enabling them to determine the authenticity of the citizenship of these Ugandans.

Meanwhile, Kisembo notified that the recruitment exercise of registrars will kick-off tomorrow and last for two weeks online.

NIRA’s mass enrolment targets to register or renew expiring Identity Cards of close to 30 million Ugandans.
