The opposition National Economic empowerment Dialogue (NEED) has lashed out at sister opposition political parties for failing to focus on issues affecting Ugandans but instead fighting for power within their respective parties.

While addressing journalists at party headquarters in Lubaga today during the weekly party press conference, Asuman Odaka the party Secretary General said that Ugandans have waited for change for nearly 30 years but it is heartening to see people who should bring it when they are just fighting for offices within their respective parties.

Odaka adds that opposition parties should leave behind internal conflicts and focus on issues affecting Ugandans such as land grabbing, abductions, human rights violations among others.

He has disclosed that it’s time for political parties to start dialoguing on peaceful transition in Uganda as well as regional government such that every part of Uganda solve its social, economic and political issues for development.

He says the more they continue fighting each other it will be making the statement of president Museveni of finishing opposition in Uganda true.
