Alliance for National Transformation presidential candidate, Maj.Gen, Mugisha Muntu has warned Ugandans against getting driven by emotions while deciding the next president of Uganda.

Addressing journalists at the party headquarters in Kampala, Muntu said in the past 58 years of independence, the country has had many good manifestos and policies without practical benefit to spar transformation.

Reciting his party’s campaign manifesto of “the change you can trust”, the Alliance for National Transformation presidential candidate said they are ready to practice what they preach by implementing their manifesto with discipline and self control to serve all Ugandans which is defeating the current government and the past ones.

Empowerment of the populace is important to get sound human resources the drivers to social, economic and political transformation and this has to be supported by their decision to vote wisely.

Gen. Muntu who is one of the 11 candidates contesting for the presidential seat in the 2021 general elections launched his 41 man campaigning team headed by Hon. Winne Kizza at party headquarters which has assured members of an open win to the presidency.
