The High Court in Entebbe has found Godfrey Troy Wamala guilty of manslaughter instead of murder in relation to the killing of a musician Moses Sekibogo a.k.a Mowzey Radio.

Justice Jane Abodo of Entebbe High Court said Wamala did not have malice aforethought to kill Radio despite the fact that the Goodlyfe Crew member died following a bar brawl.

Delivering her ruling before a fully-packed court room her worship argued that Wamala squarely linked himself to the scene of crime when he admitted to have been present when the incident happened.

Wamala is said to have led to Mowzey Radio’s death after he lifted and threw him down of the bar causing him serious head injuries while at a hangout spot called De Bar in Entebbe on January 22nd, 2018.

The injuries Radio sustained including a fractured skull later led to his death on 1st February 2018 at Case Hospital in Kampala where he had been admitted.

Manslaughter is lesser offense than murder which attracts a maximum penalty of life imprisonment and Justice Abodo has set Thursday October 31, 2019 when she will deliver her sentence.
