The Democratic Party President General Norbert Mao has announced plans to meet with the former Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) President Dr. Kizza Besigye and the Kyadondo East Legislator Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu next week to discuss on the fracas that happened at Bulange Mengo.

According to the DP Spokesperson Kenneth Paul Kakande, a similar incident happened during the Democratic Alliance (TDA) meeting in 2015 where a group of youths stormed their meeting in Naguru and pulled out Dr.Kizza Besigye, an action that cost the opposition in as far as the planning for the liberation of Uganda is concerned.

Besigye escaped being beaten by angry Bobi Wine supporters after they stormed Massengere building at Mengo where the FDC leader had appeared for a political talk show on a radio.

He has also called for the intervention of the East African Community in the standoff between Uganda and Rwanda that caused the closure of all the entry boarder points to Rwanda since Wednesday February 27th 2019.
