The opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has challenged its newly appointed leaders to be strong and focused to the party ideology if they are to help in changing the power in this country.

 

Among National leaders appointed include the Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago as Deputy president Central Region, Anna Adeke the Woman Member of Parliament for Soroti District as  Deputy  President Eastern region and Moses Okwera Mugisha as Deputy Secretary Agriculture among others.

 

Patrick Amuriat Oboi, the party president who officiated at the inauguration ceremony at party headquarters in Najjanakumbi today said that FDC is not a party for merry making; it’s here to take power and transform the country.

 

Amuriat adds that new leaders should use their respective offices to strengthen the party, never to think of self gains and also be ready for criticisms being it internal or external.

 

He has disclosed that these changes are some of the measures aimed at strengthening the party adding party members leaving can never scare away their ambitions.

 

Meanwhile, Erias Lukwago has assured full commitment to party’s agenda as well as uniting all change seeking forces hence change the leadership of Uganda.
