The Forum for Democratic Change-FDC party has asked Ugandan politicians to love and fight for the country’s democracy.

While paying tribute to the fallen strong pillar of the party; Prince Dickson Wasajja at Namirembe Cathedral, the party Deputy President in the Buganda region, Erias Lukwago said Wasajja loved his country and was strong in fighting for justice for all Ugandans hence asking politicians to borrow a leaf from him.

Prince Wasajja was a coordinator of the FDC in the United Kingdom and died on 3rd November 2022 hours after he had returned to Uganda from the United Kingdom.

During the church service, Bishop Katumba Tamale of West Buganda Diocese praised Wasajja’s love for his country and asked other politicians to prioritize their country rather than their personal interests.

Katumba also urged the Government to set free all innocent Ugandans who are rotting away in prisons, especially those who were arrested for political reasons.
