The Democratic Party-DP has released its roadmap of electing its Presidential flag bearers and other leaders ahead of the forth coming general elections for 2021.

 

Addressing the media at the party’s headquarters in Kampala, the National Organizing Secretary of the party, Sulaiman Kidandala, says the party will hold its delegates conference between 28th-31st March 2020 where they will elect their new party president and other party leaders.

 

Before the delegates conference, there will be registration of party members at village levels from January 14th-26th, at parish level from February 7th-9th, at Sub Country level from February 18th-20th, at constituency level from February 27th -29th and at district level from March 7th-9th.

 

Kidandala however appealed to all party members to ensure that they renew their membership in time so as to have smooth preparations for the delegates’ conference.

 

Meanwhile, party representatives from the constituency and district level will represent those at the lower levels in the national delegates’ conference.
