DP opens window for interested candidates to contest for Dokolo District Women MP seat.

The opposition Democratic Party (DP) calls all its members who would wish to contest for the Dokolo District Women MP position to express interest at the party headquarters.

This comes after the EC has releasing a road map for the bye election of the district woman Representative to parliament and Local Government Councilors as well, the bye election will commence with the update of the National voters register from Monday 12th to Thursday 15th February, 2024 at update stations in each of the 71 parishes/wards in .

While addressing journalists at party headquarters in Kampala today the acting party spokesperson Ismail Kiirya said that in case there’s any member who would wish to run on the DP ticket the door is open at the party headquarters.

Kirya adds that is an opportunity to add on DP number of MPs in parliament so they welcome any female member who would wish to contest on the DP ticket.

However, Kiirya advised Dokolo members to vote wisely to get someone who will Robby for the social economic and political development of district.
