The Buganda road court has fixed 21st of November 2023 to start the hearing of the case in which judiciary driver Stanley Kisambira is charged with hate speech after an audio clip went viral.

The hearing failed to start today because the state prosecutor Allan Muchunguzi couldn’t bring the amended charge sheet since it was still under compilation hence asking for more time.

In the last session state informed court that he had amended the charges and only one count of computer misuse was pending which court expected to have been done by today .

For that  case defense lawyer Derick Bazeketa has objected states player of adjournment urging that its just a waste of time ,court has given his enough time to complete his ammended charge sheets.

The lawyer has however informed court that they have six fresh objections where the trial chief Magistrate Gladys Kamasanyu advised him to first let the state bring its proposed amended charge sheets then he will rise his objections.

Court heard that on May 12th, 2023 within Uganda, Kisambira through a computer shared on the Judiciary Transport WhatsApp group information recorded audio which was likely to promote hostility against judges in the Judiciary.

According to the prosecution, Kisambira reportedly indicated that the Judges’ salaries are unfairly over and above those of their drivers and that a driver can decide to cause a road accident by ramming into a moving truck thereby killing the Judges.
