The Opposition in parliament has accused the clerk of Parliament Adolf Mwesigye for conniving with the government to alter the resolution of parliament to cancel the Vinci coffee deal.

This is after the Opposition MPs learnt of the alleged move by the government to alter the resolution of parliament in favor and protection of Vinci coffee company contrary to the resolution to cancel the monopoly of the company in dubious coffee agreement.

Addressing journalists at parliament the Mityana South MP Richard Lumu accompanied by other MPs said that the opposition on several occasions has demanded the circulation of the resolution report to MPs but the clerk has persistently refused to comply with the demand.

They propose that government should allow indigenous traders to trade in coffee and government support them in valve addition.
