The Archbishop of Kampala, His Grace Paul Ssemogerere is worried over the increasing levels of immorality reported in the general public in the country.

He said this while leading a Eucharistic celebration for the 29th Uganda Martyrs University -UMU Day held under the theme; “Agility, Flexibility and Creativity towards Transformation Change,” at the main campus in Nkozi, Mpigi district.

Archbishop Ssemogerere who is also the UMU Patron says that many people pretend to be good yet they are enemies to their fellows, which is a time bomb for the country Uganda.

According to His Grace, the evils and iniquity always reported in the mainstream media within the communities are people killing their lovers, husbands, relatives and neighbors among others.

He however hails Uganda Martyrs University UMU for exhibiting a good image in the society by producing students that have benefited the communities and the country at large.

The UMU Vice Chancellor Prof. Edrin Kyamanywa says the university has continued to grow with now having over 30,000 alumni among whom most of them are well placed in the country.
