Centenary Bank has announced a Sh40 million sponsorship for a television show called “Be inspired” to help the public turn their dreams into reality.
The show is going to be premiered today Tuesday 9th May 2023 at 10pm on NTV Uganda and it will be hosted by Pepe Minambo, an inspirational speaker every Tuesday of the week on the same station.
Fabian Kasi, the Centenary Bank Managing Director while announcing this sponsorship at Mapeera House in Kampala on Tuesday said they are sponsoring the programme because it resonates with the 40-year-old bank’s goal of alleviating poverty in Uganda.
He says they want to change their customers’ lives socially and financially and by sponsoring this inspirational show, they want to help their hopeless customers get tips on how to turn their dreams into reality to contribute to the country’s economic transformation.
He says the bank is providing education to increase literacy levels in the country and improve environmental governance and the financial wellbeing of Ugandans.
Pepe Minambo, the host of the “Be Inspired with Pepe Minambo Show” said that it will be providing thought leadership to unemployed youth, entry-level, mid-level, and almost retiring corporate managers on how they can fully unlock their potential even when they think they have reached the climax of their career journey.
He explained that this is a Pan-African show that targets an audience aged between 18 and 45 years beyond Uganda’s borders to include audiences in countries like Malawi and Ghana that can resonate with the stories from Uganda.
The show will be aired at 10:00pm and it will be running at the same time for the next 10 weeks providing entrepreneurs, innovators, and employees with insights on how to progress to the next stage of development.
