The Archbishop of Kampala Paul Ssemogerere has applauded the health workers for lifting Jesus’ healing ministry and also maintaining the pride of the Catholic Church.

This was during the Eucharistic celebration in thanksgiving for the Lubaga Hospital’s 125 years of Community and Faith rooted healthcare at the colorful inauguration function held at Lubaga Training Institute in Rubaga division.

His Grace Ssemogerere says that health workers have kept the standard of service delivery at Rubaga Hospital which is the 2nd oldest hospital in the country and 1st oldest Catholic hospital in Uganda.

He noted that his prayer is for the health workers to continue helping those seeking health assistance by working for God.

The function is being graced by the State Minister for Primary Healthcare Anifa Kawooya Bangirana, the former Buganda Katikkiro Eng. John Baptist Walusimbi among others.

Lubaga Hospital was established in 1899 by the Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of Africa.
