The Pope Nuncio Emeritus to Belgium Archbishop Augustine Kasujja has implored Catholics to stand for the wellbeing of those denied their rights.

Archbishop Kasujja says many times society is denied its due and rights by those in power and authority who most times do it deliberately for selfish interests.

This calls for commitment in service, truth and justice by the Christians especially Catholics who are serving in various leadership positions to help others to get their entitlement.

He said this during a memorial mass to pray for the late Leo Ssekayombya and wife the late Maria Ssekayombya in Katabi ,Bugonga Parish, Entebbe Municipality Wakiso district at their home.

Archbishop Kasujja says sin is inevitable but Christian life is inspired by hope, prayer and faith in Christ, striving to receive sacraments which empower the life of any faithful.

The late Leo Ssekayombya who was a civil Engineer with Uganda Airlines served as the head of laity for many years in Entebbe Bugonga Parish while his wife Maria Ssekayombya was a treasurer in the same parish, they both died in 2010 at 90 years and 80 years of age respectively. They survived with 8 Children and over 80 grandchildren; three of them are Priests of Jinja diocese.
