Police are still hunting for a woman alleged to have cut-off her husband’s genitals on Tuesday last night at Kirangira in Mukono district.
The incident is reported to have happened at around 4:30am.
The victim is identified as Vincent Sseguya, a resident of Kirangira, Mukono district while the suspect is by the names of Desire Kisakye.
Patrick Onyango, the Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson says that Sseguya and Kisakye have been having domestic issues ever since the victim came back from abroad where he was working.
Kisakye has been deceiving Sseguya that she was pregnant which was false and forced him to stop providing help for her, according to the police.
Onyango says on Tuesday in the wee hours the lady picked a knife and attempted to chop off the husband’s private parts and immediately fled away with his documents and a mobile phone after the act.
However, the victim managed to survive and he is admitted at Mirembe hospital with deep cuts after losing a lot of blood in the process as he was rushed to the hospital.
