President Yoweri Museveni has called on National Resistance Movement (NRM) supporters and other electorates in Kyadondo East to vote for William Sitenda Sebalu in the coming parliamentary by-elections to clear their chances of having better service delivery.

Addressing Sebalu’s last rally for Kyadondo East Parliamentary by-election at Manyangwa, the President said his candidate is the best person he can work with to deliver services to the people of Kyadondo.

Sebalu is running against four other competitors including the Forum for Democratic Change’s (FDC) Apollo Kantinti and Independents Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine, Muwada Nkunyinji as well as Sowed Male Kayongo.

Museveni says that Kyadondo East and Wakiso district as a whole has been developing at a low pace due to the voted leaders from opposition that sabotages government programs.

However, Sitenda assured the president of his unreserved cooperation with the people of the area and that he will work tirelessly to deliver the services to the people after winning the Thursday poll.

Earlier, Museveni met the bodaboda and taxi operators at Resort hotel in Kasangati where the Nangabo Bodaboda 2010 riders asked him to re-instate the operation of auto rickshaws commonly known as Tuku Tukus as commercial public transport means.

Responding to their demands, Museveni he ordered the re-instatement of tuku tuku and referred to continue solving their issue in mid July at State house Entebbe but blaming them for voting wrong leaders who sabotage government programs.
