The Financial Administrator Uganda Episcopal Conference Rev. Fr. Eustachius Lwemalika has emphasized that marriage is a blessing from God, never should it be abused.
Leading the Eucharist celebration for the matrimonial wedding of Ronald Ssebugwawo, a staff of the Uganda Catholic Secretariat Nsambya and Florence Senkungu Gwokyalya at Lubaga Cathedral on Wednesday afternoon, Fr. Lwemalika said many hide in being cooperative and ridicules marriage.
He said women and men nowadays want children without holy marriage arguing that they hate responsibilities and restrictions not knowing that they are missing God’s grace and blessings.
Fr. Lwemalika who is also the Managing Director of Radio Sapientia reminded the couple of true love in their marriage, patience, understanding and respect to God.
The mass has been attended by staff from the Catholic Secretariat.
The couple will later serve their guests at a reception to be held at Pearl of African Hotel, Kampala.
