Police in Mukono has arrested two people that have been impersonating as contract killers and solicit money from locals.
Suspects are Pascal Sekimpi 27 and Ramathan Kibuyaga 30years residents of Gayaza and Namataba in Mukono respectively who are commonly known to be witch doctors, have been calling people pretending to be contracted by others to take their lives and in the bargain for life they ask for money.
According to Police Professional Standards Unit (PSU) Spokesperson Vincent Ssekate, the two had tried to con Asuman Wandera a resident of Kamwokya who alerted police which responded in time and they were hunted down.
Ssekate adds that in plans for arrest Ramathan was trapped first that later lead them to the colleague and currently detained at Mukono police station on charges of threatening life, conspiracy to commit a crime, extortion of money by means of threat among others.
