Thugs burn Hoima Chief Resident State Attorney’s office

Unknown Thugs have broken into the Hoima Chief Resident State Attorney’s office and torched several files. 

The thugs broke into the offices in the wee hours this morning located along Hoima-Kampala road near the office of the Resident City Commissioner-RCC, Hoima Resident District Commissioner-RDC, Albertine Regional Police headquarters, and District Internal Security Officer-DISO.

Julius Hakiza, the Albertine Region Police spokesperson, says that the thugs gained entrance into the offices through the behind part of the building after cutting the chain link then later cut one of the windows and entered the offices, where they set several case files on fire before they took off.

Hakiza says that police were tipped off after people saw fire emerging from the offices at around 4 am.

According to Hakiza, investigations into the matter have commenced. They are currently analyzing CCTV footage to establish what exactly could have happened.
