Police has been accused of delaying investigations into the murder case of the former spokesperson of the force Andrew Felix Kaweesi together with his body guard and Driver.

Fatuma Musa, the wife to the suspect in the case Ahmedi Hirali told Journalists at Nakawa court that ever since their relatives were arrested and detained, no concrete investigations have been presented in court but rather to keep the suspects in suffering.

Fatuma adds that though their relatives have been granted bail but police must expedite the investigation to set them free or convict them guilty.

This comes after court in Kampala on Tuesday morning released on bail three more suspects accused of murdering Kaweesi outside his house in Kulambiro, a Kampala suburb in March 2017.

Their leases brought to the total number of suspects released on bail to 19.

Ali Mugoya Byantuyo, Ahmed Yusuf and Hibwagi Sinani were on Tuesday released on a cash bail of UShs 500, 000 each by Nakawa grade one magistrate, Noah Sajjabi.

Their sureties were also bonded UShs 500, 000 not cash.

The Nakawa Court Chief magistrate Noah Ssajjabi told them to be reporting at police stations in their respective areas of residence every month before he adjourned the case to March 6, for further mention.
