The chairperson of the parliamentary committee on Commission’s State and Statutory Enterprises (COSASE) Abdul Katuntu has refuted allegations that his vice chairperson Anita Among has been replaced.

Recent media reports indicated that opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) allegedly resolved to replace the Bukedea woman representative Anita Among (an Independent), accusing her of being in union with the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) on top of supporting the removal of age limit.

In today’s morning session Katuntu denied having received any communication to the effect but if it’s proved the committee is ready to handle the matter as stipulated in the law.

Meanwhile on the aborted meeting with the parliamentary commission to account for their operations Katuntu warned that, there will not be favors once it come to the discussion of the auditor general’s report and queries over the parliamentary commission’s operations.
