At least two Senior One students are behind bars following their arrest on charges of threatening violence by attacking St Charles Lwanga High School in Sheema district.

According to the police, the suspects who include a 16 year old Innocent Mwesigye and a 17 year old Amon Nayebale both S.1 students at St Charles Lwanga High School Sheema district allegedly wrote an anonymous terrorist letter to the school administration while posing to be terrorists.

Fred Enanga, the Police Spokesperson says that the two students used the recent terrorist attack on Lhubiriha Secondary school which happened last month and wrote anonymous terrorist letters to the school administration while posing to be terrorists in which they indicated that they had plans of carrying out an attack on the school.

Enanga also noted that in their letter, the two suspects also included two other schools which are found in Kasese district which were also to be attacked.

Enanga thanked the administration for taking action against indiscipline because they had suspended the students from the school over cases related to indiscipline.

Enanga says that the two students will be charged in Court of law on cases of threatening violence even though they are minor because they will be taken to Juvenile detention centers.
