St. Balikuddembe Buloba Catholic Parish is looking for 1.2 billion shillings for the completion of the Parish Administration Block which comprises Parish Offices and Priestly residences.
This has been sounded by the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Paul Ssembogga during the launch of the Parish end of year event dubbed “Yoyoota Buloba Parish Annual Fundraising Dinner” aimed at collecting money for the completion of the parish project.
In his massage Fr. Ssembogga narrated that the Parish which started on 8th May 2009 and was launched by the then Archbishop of Kampala, the late Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga and is composed of eight sub parishes, with a population of 14,000 Catholics.
He called upon people of God to join them on this big event scheduled to take place on 8th of December this year at the parish.
Meanwhile, Our Lady of Perpetual Kalambi Sub Parish was chosen to be the lead organizer for the event, and the chairperson of the organizing committee Mathias Jjumba said, that their target is to collect Sh400million at this event where the Speaker of Parliament Anita Among is expected as the guest of honour.
