The Speaker of Parliament Annet Anita Among has challenged the government to employ different approaches in addressing the youth challenges in the country.
Among made the call while opening the youth parliament sitting at parliament on Friday as one of the activities commemorating the World Youth Day celebrations that will be celebrated on 12th this month next week.
She says challenges like climate change, post covid-19 effects, land ownership, easy accessibility of loans among others are major challenges that cannot be ignored.
It’s from this that Speaker Among pledged support on behalf of parliament to address all youth challenges and also to forward the resolutions from Friday’s youth parliamentary sit to different agencies and ministries of government for consideration.
