The Makindye Chief Magistrates Esther Adikini has again charged one Charles Olimu alias Sipapa with other two counts

 

The two counts include, office breaking and theft. Prosecution alleges that Sipapa on the 3rd day of February 2019 at Kisugu Makindye division in Kampala did break and enter the office of Atsushi Waada with intent to commit a felony of theft therein.

 

It further alleges that Sipapa on the very day and place stole four camon batteries, 2 camera lens, 5 compact flashes, 8 computers, 5 filters, 4 hard discs, 1 electronic dictionary, laptop bag and cash all valued at one hundred sixty nine million fifty nine thousand eighty five shillings the property of Atsushi Waada.

 

Sipapa who was represented by a different lawyer on this file named Samuel Euruthyl has pleaded not guilty to the charges and further remanded.

 

Court has been adjourned to 12th of December 2022 for mention.

 

Sipapa faces other charges in this very court and yesterday the court instructed the police investigators to speed up the investigations so that the case can proceed.
