Elections will never remove President Yoweri Museveni from power, the opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party has reiterated while evaluating the exercise of the previous general elections.
The FDC Party president, Patrick Oboi Amuriat says based on the unjust deeds that were witnessed in last elections before its clear President Museveni is not ready to leave power and his supporters that include MPs and lower level leaders even in the next general elections.
Amuriat made the remarks while addressing a meeting for FDC leaders from Luweero, Nakaseke and Nakasongola who convened at Pope John Paul II Pastoral Center (PJPIIPC) in Luweero Town Council to evaluate the party’s performance in the 2021 polls.
He says that they are planning to mobilize numbers of youths to join them side to rejuvenate the weakening party.
In his response about the first son also Ex-Commander of the UPDF land forces Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s campaign to invest in youth activities, Amuriat says he’s harboring political intentions noting that he is not a threat to them.
