In preparation for the Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II’s   30th anniversary slated for the 31st of this month at his Mengo Palace, different companies are fulfilling their commitments towards the successful organization of the event.

Kansai Plascon paints has today handed over a consignment of paint to renovate the Twekobe building in the Mengo palace.

Unlike the previous coronation cerebrations that have been attended by a few invited people due to the Covid-19 related restrictions, this time round the 30th coronation anniversary will be open to the general public at the Mengo palace.

While handing over the paint, the National Sales Manager Kansai Plascon Paints, Moses Kato noted that this is the only way they could give back to the kingdom for the support it has accorded to them.

Kato notes that the renovation on Twekobe house will only take 4-5 days starting on Thursday to ensure that the coronation celebrations are carried out in a colorful place.

Robert Ssewava, the Head of the Mengo palace who received the paint and other working tools on behalf of the Katikkiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga applauded Plascon’s gesture at a time they were needed most.
