Police are still holding four suspected terror attackers in their custody after having released two of the six arrested last week in connection to an attempted bombing in Rubaga division.

According to the police, six (6) suspects including a suicide bomber that attempted to enter Miracle Centre Cathedral in Rubaga division were arrested for allegedly being behind the improvised explosive devices picked at Lungujja, Nateete, Kayanja zone and Bunamwaya Ngobe last week.

The Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga says that two of the six arrested suspected terrorists were released by the joint Anti terrorism task force team after scrutinizing them.

But the other four according to Enanga still remained in custody after having been found with links to the bomb threats including a woman who was sneaking a bomb at Mabiito Business hub in Nateete.

Enanga says that efforts in the Investigating are also focusing on establishing the main funders of the suspected terrorists currently in custody.

Meanwhile, Police have cautioned the public against using the existing terror threats to create fear in their business opponents.

Enanga says this is after an incident where a person dumped a plastic bottle full of water at the School gate of Bweeya Junior School located at Kajjansi with intentions of creating fear at the school.
