Directors and Heads of Specialized Units in Uganda police Force (UPF) have been urged to plan, monitor and evaluate well all resources allocated to the force for better service delivery.

According to the 2018/19 Budget Framework, police was allocated shs514.7billion shillings out of the required shs1.2 trillion.

Edward Ochomu, the Police Director for Research and Planning during the one day workshop on issues of planning held in Bugoloobi, said that it is very important to plan for each and every fund given to police for proper accountability.

Ochomu adds that this also gives government confidence in police and also reduces doubts of corruption.
