Police are hunting for the unknown suspects alleged to have captured in a video of a tortured person that went viral on social media over the weekend.

According to police, the victim seen in this video tied with barbed wires during the torture has been identified as Brian Njuba aged 40years, a plumber and a resident of Lungujja in Rubaga division.

Fred Enanga the police spokesperson says the preliminary investigations show that Njuba received a call from yet to be identified suspects for plumbing work at Ggaba in Makindye division at Lovely Guest house who directed him to find them in room 6 at the guest house.

The victim didn’t know the clients but as soon as he entered the room these suspects were in, he was grabbed and forcefully tied up with barbed wires and after they started torturing him while using a burning Jerry can as Enanga explains.

Enanga says the preliminary investigations established that the suspects who are still at large never captured their faces but instead captured a National Resistance Movement- NRM T-shirt which one of the suspects was putting on.

But, two people have been arrested from Lovely Guest house in Rubaga including the Manager Brian Mushabwe and Mercy Namagambe who was on duty for failure to record identities of the suspects whom are on wanted.
