Government has vowed to tightening security to have peace, modernize infrastructures to attract investors who will boast the economy and fight unemployment.
The Minister for Trade and Cooperatives, Amelia Kyambadde while officiating at the ground breaking for Arena Mall located along Nsambya-Gaba Road the former Uganda Railways staff quarters, said that peace and stability plus infrastructural developed create an enabling environment for business development.
Kyambade says Uganda is the best destination for investment given the high number of skilled youthful population and availability of natural resources that are still untapped like in oil and mineral development, agriculture and Tourism among others.
She called upon Ugandans to improve on the quality of their products as to compete with imported goods in the ongoing campaign Buy Uganda Build Uganda initiative.
