The deputy speaker of parliament Jacob Oulanyah has express worry over the increasing travel sanctions against top Ugandan government officials to foreign countries.

His concern comes after receiving information that the chief Justice Bert Katurebe Magunda was denied travel documents to America.

He made the remarks while meeting the Belgium Ambassador to Uganda Rudi Veestraeten  saying there should be fear treatment to all but if developed countries start to treat Africans like that they may pass a resolution never to visit those countries that pride in the causing suffering to African countries.

Oulanyah says besides making VISAs very unbearable he is pained to se Ugandans change their citizenship because of favours saying such actions further colonialism and building of walls against disadvantaged groups or countries.

The deputy speaker also tasked the Uganda Ambassador to Brussels Mirjam Blaak to investigate why Ugandan consignment of fresh products was destroyed in Amsterdam, Netherlands recently when it had passed all the required checks and tests. Although the Belgian Ambassador Rudi Veestraetens denied knowledge demanding for reports over such allegations

This coincided with the launch of the black book called Speak up by the alleged Victims of torture under the period when General Kale Kayihura was serving as the Inspector General of Police known as the Alternative Uganda

The spokesperson of the group Faridah Bikobere says through Kizza and Company advocates they have launch of process of litigation against the tortured and suffering a number of victims experienced for the 13 year period when General Kayihura served as the inspector general of police until March 2018.
