Opposition in Parliament warns over the health of imprisoned MPs

A section of opposition Mps led by the Leader of Opposition Mathias Mpuuga have warned authorities both in government that if one of the Mps currently in prisons dies they will be liable for their death.

This is after a delegation lead by LoP Mathius Mpuuga, commissioner also Mityana Municipality Mp Francis Zaake, Kalungu West Mp Joseph Ssewungu and Mityana woman MpJoyce Bagala visited the imprisoned Markindye west mp Allan Ssewanyana and Kawempe North Mp Muhammad Segirinya and found that their lives are detoriating each day out and denied access to proper medication.

Mpuuga and Ssewungu say while interacting with Segirinya at Luzira prisons, he noted to them that his life is at risk at any time and no proper subscribed medication from government doctors is administered to him and yet even his personal doctors were denied permission.

Meanwhile Mityana Municipality Mp Francis Zaake said that Segirinya revealed to him that the kidnappers tortured him up while forcing him to accept that the president of National Unity Platform Robert Kyagulanyi was behind the Masaka bijjambiya killings.
