Col. Edith Nakalema, the Head of the State House Anti Corruption Unit has warned to arrest all public officers that are still practicing corruption tendencies.

This was during her visit at the Kabalye Police Training School in Masindi district to give a ward of courage to over 5200 recruits that are expected to be passed out next month by President Yoweri Museveni after undergoing six months training.

According to Nakalema, over 300 suspects are under investigations for being corrupt and 30bnshs have been recovered in a period of one year and sent back to the consolidated fund.

She however encourages the police recruits at Kabalye Training School to ensure they add value to Uganda in eliminating the obstacle of Corruption once they start serving instead of joining the list of corrupt officials.

Before meeting the recruits, Nakalema accompanied by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Works and Transport Bageya Waisswa and the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Local Government Benjamin Nuwamanya among other officials first held an open brief meeting with the Kabalye Police Training School administration led by the Commandant ACP Abubaker Ziwedde.
