NRM releases roadmap for Hoima LCV by-elections primaries

The ruling National Resistance Movement has released its roadmap for the forthcoming Hoima LC5 by-elections primaries scheduled for 25th August 2023.

According to the Party Chairperson for Electoral Commission Tanga odoi, NRM is committed to take the post which fell vacant after the district Chairman Kirungi Kadiri perished in a road accident in March this year.

Tanga Odoi told the press at the NRM electoral commission offices at Kyadondo plot 13 that, beginning tomorrow 20th to 28th July candidate will express their interests at NRM electoral commission offices while councilors will be at the district offices.

Campaigns will be held from 3^rd to 23rd August according to the given groups while elections will be held on 25^th August then NRM  will present its flag-bearers on either 30th or 31st August to the National Electoral Commission for nominations.

He also informed members that there is no any expression of interest fees and warned anyone who will violate the rules to be disqualified.
