The outgoing chairperson of the committee on government assurance who is also the Mukono municipality MP Betty Nambooze Bakireke has decried the frustration meted on the committee during her tenure leading to failure of tabling some committee reports in Parliament.

Nambooze says on many occasions her committee has been denied the opportunity by the administration of parliament to table report findings on investigations for a period of two and half years.

She revealed this while handing over the office to the new chairperson who is also the Kimanya Kabonera MP Dr Abed Bwanika, where Nambooze also noted that parliament banned their travels inland and abroad which affected their certain findings.

Nambooze has also lashed at the ministers who have intentionally failed to respond to committee summons which also lacked hind the work of committee.
