His Excellence President Museveni has assured people northern Uganda that land problems involving residents and investors will soon be resolved.
In his speech at the international labour day in Agago district, Museveni says since the government defeated LRA labels commanded by Joseph Kony there is no issue that can defeat government to solve.
The International Labour day celebrations are under the theme “PROMOTING EMPLOYMENT THROUGH EMBRACING INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT”
Museveni said government is doing all it takes to develop public utilities to promote trade and economy, support mechanization of agriculture and industries that can support value addition to the local products and create jobs.
This comes at the time when a number of youths are not employed and this is attributed to low levels of employment skills.
Government initiated skilling Uganda program aimed at imparting practical skills for youths to start up jobs instead of looking for jobs after school.
