His Excellence President Yoweri Museveni has reiterated his stand against sectarian politics that he calls ‘Rubbish’.

Presiding over the scientific NRM/A liberation day celebrations at state house Entebbe on Tuesday under the theme; ’Celebrating the 35th NRM/A victory day, a call to play our duty in securing our nation’s future’, Museveni said that the 1986 victory was a victory of ideas achieved after a long time of struggle which can’t be left to trash.

He says it’s dangerous for people to think of creating a Latin America in Uganda and Africa, a continent full of wealthy but turned into a centre of misery due to bad leadership which should not be accepted in this country and he will never entertain violence plus cheating.

Museveni said they will audit the elections once they are completed by February 3rd to ascertain the operation of the voter biometrics that he believes to be the most efficient system to deliver a credible election although some peoples seem to have disorganized them to cheat.

He also responded to the call made by Msgr. Charles Kasibante the Vicar General of Kampala Archdiocese in his prayer of reconciliation and granting freedom to Robert Kyagulanyi.

Museveni said that the NRM government have always reconciled with many that is why he is working with almost all sons of the former presidents of Uganda.
